Professor Alan M. Dershowitz is Brooklyn native who has been called “the nation’s most peripatetic civil liberties lawyer” and one of its “most distinguished defenders of individual rights,” “the best-known criminal lawyer in the world,” “the top lawyer of last resort,” “America’s most public Jewish defender” and “Israel’s single most visible defender – the Jewish state’s lead attorney in the court of public opinion.” He is the Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. Dershowitz, a graduate of Brooklyn College and Yale Law School, joined the Harvard Law School faculty at age 25 after clerking for Judge David Bazelon and Justice Arthur Goldberg.

He has also published more than 100 articles in magazines and journals such as The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post. The Wall Street Journal, The New Republic, The Nation, Commentary, Saturday Review, The Harvard Law Review and the Yale Law Journal, and more than 300 of his articles have appeared in syndication in 50 national daily newspapers. Professor Dershowitz is the author of 27 fiction and non-fiction works with a worldwide audience. His most recent titles include Rights From Wrong, The Case For Israel, The Case For Peace, Blasphemy: How the Religious Right is Hijacking the Declaration of Independence and Preemption: A Knife that Cuts Both Ways, Finding Jefferson – A Lost Letter, A Remarkable Discovery, and The First Amendment In An Age of Terrorism.

In addition to his numerous law review articles and books about criminal and constitutional law, he has written, taught and lectured about history, philosophy, psychology, literature, mathematics, theology, music, sports – and even delicatessens.

In 1983, the Anti-Defamation League of the B'nai B'rith presented him with the William O. Douglas First Amendment Award for his "compassionate eloquent leadership and persistent advocacy in the struggle for civil and human rights." In presenting the award, Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel said: "If there had been a few people like Alan Dershowitz during the 1930s and 1940s, the history of European Jewry might have been different." Professor Dershowitz has been awarded the honorary doctor of laws degree by Yeshiva University, the Hebrew Union College, Brooklyn College, Syracuse University and Haifa University. The New York Criminal Bar Association honored him for his "outstanding contribution as a scholar and dedicated defender of human rights."

Ray told me this before he spoke at his Official Announcement to run against the Corporate Democratic Military Industrial Complex Candidate for Texas US Senator.

A very passionate candidate who is anything other than a fake or what some like to call a politician.

Ray is not a Politician and this is a very very positive attribute.

Dont get me wrong he is very well suited for the Senate and the diplomacy is there but there is a sternness that demands his respect kind of like the respect and command he possesses in the classroom. I think we can all agree, if he can handle our youth in the classroom he will do well for us in Washington.

Biography
Before assuming the deanship of the S.J. Quinney College of Law July 1, 2006, Dean Chodosh was associate dean for academic affairs and Joseph C. Hostetler-Baker & Hostetler Professor of Law at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dean Chodosh joined the Case faculty in 1993 after three years in private practice in New York City with the international firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. At Case, he also directed the Frederick K. Cox International Law Center from 1998 to 2003. A leading expert in comparative and global justice reform with hands-on experience in more than 20 countries, he has served as a consultant on judicial reform for the International Monetary Fund, a senior reporter on several U.S. State Department reform studies, and an adviser to the World Bank's Justice Reform Group. A Fulbright Senior Scholar in India in 2003, Dean Chodosh is the author of Global Justice Reform: A Comparative Methodology, published in 2005 by New York University Press, and more than 25 articles, essays, and book chapters.

Corpus Christi Watchdog Authority: When the District Attorney has questions and the SOS has cleared the Candidate to run, how can there be criminal proceedings?

Whichever suits the interest of the "Pick and Choose" self dealers of Del Mar College. The voters made their choice; but it is not the choice of the "Pick and Choose" self dealers, so they whine. Always changing the rules in the middle of the process and calling it due process and they actually believe their own prevarication. .1 ¶ And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. 2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. 3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac. 4 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him. .5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him. 6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me. 7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age. 8 And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.
1 - As he had spoken God never fails to keep His promises. However, we may refuse the conditions upon which they are based and lose the blessing.

14 - Beersheba He is called "son of the bondsman" and "child." He has lost his name (and apparently the inheritance). Yet God has made the Muslim people a great nation. For "Beersheba" see the map of Solomon's time. 16 - Good way off He must have been suffering for lack of water. Apparently he would die.

31 - Beersheba Means "well of the oath." See map. 32 - Philistines These people existed far back in history. See on jg1301.
33 And Abraham planted a grove ["a tamarisk tree" NASB] in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God. 34 And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines' land many days.
33 - Abraham planted a grove Or "... a grove of tamarisks" or "a tamarisk tree." He also worshipped as we see from the verse. This may have been the destination intended for Hagar and Ishmael.

The Israeli government is currently erecting the Wall of Separation euphemistically called the “Security Fence” which is supposed to block “terrorist attacks” (but certainly won’t prevent missiles and helicopters from hitting their human targets) at an estimated cost of 2 billion dollars in the middle of the Occupied Territories of the West Bank. Plans also exist to complete it along the Jordan River. In any case it is already creating a situation with immeasurably tragic consequences. But at this time, the reactions and objections from international organizations, governments, public opinions outside and inside Israel (with the notable exception of such courageous groups as Gush Shalom, B’Tselem, Ta’yush), remain strangely restrained, as if the construction were a fait accompli, as if protest must wait for the work to be completed or tactical precautions must be observed during a period of renewed “peace talks” under the auspices of the U. S. and other world powers.
Directly or indirectly displacing populations and/or depriving them of their means of subsistence (uprooting trees, denying access to water and to arable land) and opportunities for learning and work, through the dire restriction of movement, the Wall strikes at the capacity of the Palestinian people to persist, comparable to the mass expulsions of 1948 and the occupation of 1967. An estimated 90, 000 to 210, 000 Palestinians are going to be displaced from their homes. As for all others, it is designed to make their lives so utterly impossible that many will have no choice than leave, either their villages, or their country. The Wall sanctions and renders irreversible the Jewish settlements (all of them illegal by international law) and the incremental seizure of East Jerusalem, both of which transform the future, always promised “viable Palestinian State,” into a mere patchwork of Bantustans and refugee camps, generalizing and aggravating the model already realized in Gaza. I! t imprisons the Palestinians (or better said that segment of the Palestinian people who until now has succeeded in remaining and resisting on its own soil) on a restricted part of the West Bank within a murderous triple line of concrete, barbed wire and electronic fortifications, whose precedents in modern history indisputably belong to the totalitarian tradition. It also transforms the Israeli “defense forces” and the Israeli citizens themselves into a people of camp wardens. In short, this is a new naqba that promises for the present and the future only famine, deportations, terror, war, and abjection whatever transitory arrangements might be reached through local and international agreements.
Are we going to watch this process without raising any protest, just to discover after the event that we were guilty of “non-intervention” in a crime against humanity committed before our eyes? The signatories here refuse to accept the Wall as inevitable, and decry the cowardice of those who do not raise their voices against this injustice. The signatories launch an urgent appeal to democratic forces and governments, to the United Nations and humanitarian organizations, to the Jewish communities around the World who have kept the memory of their own past sufferings, and to religious, moral, academic and legal authorities. The construction of the Wall must stop immediately. World opinion must force the Israeli government to dismantle the Wall and return and restore the Palestinian land it has already appropriated and destroyed. This is not an object of “negotiation”. It is a moral and political imperative.
